New-Login Alerts and Active Sessions: Check Who's Signed In

See every device signed in to your account, understand new-login alerts, and end sessions you don't recognise — a two-minute security habit.

By · · 1 min read

Your account might be open on an old phone, a borrowed laptop or an office computer you forgot about. Check regularly.

New-login alerts

When a new device signs in to your account, Yapie posts a message to your **Saved Messages**: the device name and where it signed in from. If it wasn't you, act immediately.

See active sessions

Open **Settings › Devices** to see: - **Device** (e.g. "Chrome on Windows", "Yapie Android app"). - **IP address / approximate location.** - **Last active** time.

End a session

Tap **End session** next to any device you don't recognise or no longer use. That device is signed out at once.

Automatic expiry

Sessions that haven't been used for **six months** expire automatically, so forgotten devices don't stay signed in forever.

A good routine

- Check **Settings › Devices** monthly and after travelling or using a shared computer. - After **selling or losing a phone**, end its session. - If you see something odd, **change your password** and **turn on two-step verification**.
