Why Yapie exists
Most people juggle a messenger for friends, another for work groups, a video-call app, a spreadsheet for attendance and a separate app for sending money. Each one has its own login, its own notifications and its own way of losing your data.
We built Yapie to put those everyday jobs in one place — and to fix the problems people complain about most: backups that fail to restore, notifications that never arrive, spam from strangers, forced low-quality photos, and edits you can't take back.
What we believe
- Your history belongs to you. Changing phones shouldn't mean losing years of conversations. That's why chats sync to every device and a recovery vault keeps them safe.
- Fast on every network. Yapie is built to be light: a small app, quick to open, and usable on slow mobile data.
- Privacy you can control. You decide who sees your last seen, photo and bio, who can add you to groups and who can message you. Secret chats stay on your devices.
- Work and life, separated. One switch moves you between personal chats and your company workspace — they never mix.
- Honest about what we do. We tell you plainly which chats are end-to-end encrypted and which are stored so they can sync and be recovered.
