New hires decide in the first week whether they made the right choice. A smooth onboarding run from one app helps.

Before day one

- Send a **welcome message** with start time, location and who to ask for. - Share the **organisation invite code** so they join Yapie Work. - Share the **employee handbook** from Work › Documents.

Day one

1. Assign their **department**, **role** and **line manager**. 2. Add them to the right **groups and channels**. 3. Introduce a **buddy** in a direct chat. 4. Show them how to **check in and out** and the office geofence. 5. Walk through **approvals**: how to request leave and expenses.

Week one

- Daily 10-minute check-in with the manager (voice call is fine). - Read the key **SOPs** and **price lists** in Documents. - Join the **weekly meeting** in Meetings. - Submit their first **weekly report**.

Offboarding, briefly

When someone leaves, remove them from the organisation: their access to company spaces ends and the company keeps its records and audit history.
