Approve Odoo and ERPNext Documents with a Tap or a Reply

Approvals stall when the approver is away from their desk. With Yapie, the approval comes to them as a chat message — and their answer goes straight back into the ERP.

#How it works

1. Someone in Odoo or ERPNext taps Request approval on Yapie on a document, or new drafts are sent automatically.
2. The approver gets an approval card in Yapie: the document, the customer or vendor, the amount, and a link to open it.
3. They tap Approve or Reject, or simply reply approved, reject, or reject – price too high.
4. The ERP applies it as that person: the sales order is confirmed, the purchase order cancelled, the workflow moved on. The document's history says "✅ Approved by Sara Khan via Yapie: 'OK for this client'".
5. The card shows Updated in Odoo — or, if the person isn't allowed to do that in the ERP, why it wasn't applied.

Overdue approvals get reminders, and each person sees everything waiting for them under Approvals in Yapie.

#Odoo

Install Yapie Connector and Yapie Approvals (Odoo 19), then add approval rules: the document type, who approves (or a Yapie group), the fields shown on the card, and what approving and rejecting do. Sales orders, purchases and invoices are set up for you. Connect once in Settings › Yapie › Connect approvals.

#ERPNext

Install the Yapie app, then create a Yapie Approval Rule for any DocType: approvers or a Yapie group, the card fields, and what happens on approval (submit or a workflow action) and rejection (cancel or a workflow action). Connect once in Yapie Settings › Connect approvals.

#Safe by design

Decisions reach your ERP only through a signed webhook that your system checks, and only the named approvers can decide. A decision is final once made, and every step is logged in both Yapie and the ERP.
