Organise Your Chats With Folders

Too many chats? Create folders like Family, Work, Unread and Groups, filter by unread or exclude muted chats, and switch between them with one tap.

When you're in 50 groups, finding the conversation that matters gets hard. Folders fix that.

Built-in tabs

Above your chat list you'll find tabs such as **All**, **Unread**, **Personal**, **Groups** and **Channels**.

Create your own folder

1. Open **Settings › Chat folders**. 2. Tap **New folder** and give it a name (Family, Clients, Study…). 3. Add chats manually, or include types like groups or channels. 4. Optional filters: **Only unread** and **Exclude muted**.

Your folder appears as a new tab.

Folder ideas

- **Family** — parents, siblings and the big family group. - **Clients** — every customer chat in one place. - **Today** — only unread, excluding muted groups. - **Study** — class groups and channels.

Work chats stay separate

With **Yapie Work**, company chats live in Work mode, so personal folders stay personal. Switch with the **Me / Work** control.

More ways to declutter

- **Archive** chats you don't need daily. - **Mute** noisy groups (they still show unread counts unless you exclude muted). - **Pin** your top chats.
