Deliver with Yapie — Earn as a Rider or Run a Delivery Agency

When a nearby shop on Yapie accepts an order, a rider is needed. That rider can be you.

#Start delivering

1. Switch to Work and open Deliver.
2. Tap Deliver and earn, choose your vehicle (motorbike, bicycle, car, rickshaw, van or on foot) and add your mobile number.
3. Pay a refundable security deposit from your Yapie wallet.
4. Go online.

Jobs from shops near you appear by themselves, with a notification. Each one shows what you'll earn, how far the shop and the customer are, and how much cash to collect.

#A delivery, step by step

• Accept the job. You now see the customer's address, with Map and Call buttons, and a chat with the customer.
• Pick up the order at the shop and tap I've picked it up. The customer sees you're on the way and how far away you are.
• Hand it over. The customer gives you their 4-digit code; enter it and the delivery is done.

You keep the delivery fee — never less than the minimum per job, even if the shop offered free delivery.

#Why there's a limit

Cash on delivery means a rider carries other people's money. Your deposit is your limit: when you pick up a cash order, what you'll hand over (the order total minus your fee) counts against it. When it's used up, you can't take new jobs until you settle the cash from your wallet, hand it in, or top up your deposit. Shops know their money is covered, and you can keep riding as much as you like.

Can't complete a delivery? Tap Can't deliver and say why. The order goes back to the shop, and your limit is freed as soon as the shop confirms it has the goods.

#Run a delivery agency

Delivery companies can take responsibility for whole areas:

• Buy a prepaid package for your agency's limit.
• Add the areas you cover. Orders from shops inside them come to your riders first.
• Add your riders — they deliver under your limit with no deposit of their own. See who's online and what each one owes you.
• Give shops your agency code when they open, and earn a share of Yapie's commission on their orders every week.
